WHY USE GOVINO? CAN GOVINO REPLACE GLASS?

Crystal-clear and odourless, govino performs and reacts like expensive stemware. Govino is not intended to replace traditional glassware. It is designed for venues where breakable glass can’t go. Poolside, golf course, festivals, outdoor catering, rooftop lounges, picnics, recreation… the possibilities are endless.

WHAT IS GOVINO MADE OF?

Govino is made from a proprietary, food-safe, BPA-free PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol). PETG is a thermoplastic polymer of the polyester family. It is primarily used for beverage, food, and other liquid containers.

CAN YOU PUT GOVINO IN THE DISHWASHER?

Govino was designed for commercial use and can withstand most industrial glass sanitation systems (1-2 minutes at 72º C). Since domestic dishwashers are so widely varied, we cannot claim Govino is 100% dishwasher safe. To maintain the lustre and elegant shape of Govino for home use, we recommend hand washing.

HOW LONG DOES GOVINO LAST?

Govino is designed for reuse. When properly cared for govino can be used many times over. Although Govino is shatterproof, it should be replaced once it loses its lustre or becomes scratched or damaged. We recommend hand washing and rack or towel drying in order to extend the lifespan of govino.

DOES GOVINO ALTER THE AROMATIC PROFILE OF WINE?

govino is made from an odour-free polymer, which will not alter the aromatic profile of wine or any other libation or beverage.

HOW GREEN IS GOVINO?

Govino is comprised of #1 PETG, which is 100% recyclable, but is primarily designed to be reused – unlike most plastics. Being lighter in product and packaging weight, govino causes less carbon emissions than traditional glass from transportation. During manufacturing, PETG has outstanding thermoforming properties, combining low energy consumption, shorter production cycles, and extremely low draw ratios… All of which result in a minimized carbon footprint.

WHERE CAN I RECYCLE MY GOVINO?

Divide and conquer! Govino should be sorted and included with all other recyclables. If your waste collection service does not collect recyclables, however, govino can be can be taken to any materials recovery facility or recycling center.

CAN I DRINK HOT LIQUIDS FROM MY GOVINO?

Serving hot liquids in Govino is not recommended.

CAN I FREEZE MY GOVINO GLASS?

Freezing Govino is not recommended.

IS GOVINO SAFE FOR CHILDREN?

Govino is safe for children and is 100% BPA-free.

TERMS & CONDITIONS – INTERNET SALES

Important: Your order Confirmation Email. Please check your order confirmation email thoroughly. If there are any errors or changes please email us immediately. Please note that changes can not be made once your order is shipped. If you are sending your package to somewhere other than the billing address, both addresses will appear on your Order Confirmation Email. If you do not receive an Order Confirmation Email you may have entered an incorrect email address. Please email us and we will correct the email address and send you a copy of your order and your order number.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Govino NZ product availability is updated regularly however sometimes items do sell out between this time and when you have placed an order. If items are sold out or if there are any delays we will notify you as soon as possible.

PRICING

All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars and include GST. Govino NZ reserves the right to change prices without notice.

COST OF SHIPPING

In some cases the correct shipping costs may not show at the checkout. Govino NZ will contact you to advise if there is any change to your shipping costs. In this case you will be asked to accept the charge before we ship your order. You may also cancel your order if you wish not to accept the shipping charge.

Please note that should an item on a “free delivery” order be returned or exchanged, the initial waived delivery charge and any subsequent delivery charges will be applied. The only exception is a packing error.

PAYMENT

Credit Card: we accept Visa & Mastercard credit cards only. Other: we also accept Direct Deposit, Australia Post Money Orders, Bank Cheque and Personal Cheque however when paying by these methods goods can only be dispatched when deposits/cheques/money orders have cleared .Please select your payment method at the checkout. Our payment details are emailed to you with your order confirmation. Note: Unpaid Orders – Items are returned to stock when payments are not received within the following time after placing your order; non-sale items – 7 days.

CURRENCY

We trade in New Zealand Dollars only.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Sorry.. Govino NZ only ships to New Zealand addresses.

FURTHER IDENTIFICATION

We reserve the right to request further identification if required and to cancel orders when further identification is requested, but not received or found to be unsatisfactory.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

Govino NZ understands that Internet shopping is different from being able to pick-up and hold items the way you do in a conventional store. That is why we promise to provide the best products possible. However, if you are in anyway unhappy with your purchase we will cheerfully return/exchange/refund the item/s provided:

1. All items are returned within 30 days of receipt. No exchange, credit or refund can be given after 30 days for change of mind or if you have made a wrong decision.
2. The product(s) must be as new, ie: unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unsoiled and in their original packaging and/or tags attached.
3. Call 022 677 8141 or email us with the following details at hand: Your Name, Invoice Number, Product Name, Reason for Return and Request for replacement, exchange, credit or refund.
4. Post the product(s) to the following address: Govino NZ – Paerau, RD3, Cromwell
Please note: Postage/shipping and handling of products is not refundable unless product is deemed faulty. Under no circumstances will a refund or credit be given if the products received are used, worn, washed, soiled, damaged or without original packaging. These items will be returned to the customer with the customer responsible for any return shipping costs. It is suggested that you send your return package by receipted post or express post, as Govino NZ cannot be held responsible for any product lost/damaged in transit. If you have requested a refund, a credit will be issued via the same payment method used within 7 days of receipt of returned goods, Please note that refunds, exchanges or credits cannot be given for special order or custom made items (unless deemed faulty). If exchanging the item you may select an alternative product, however if the replacement item is priced higher than the item exchanged you will be required to pay for the difference. We charge a minimum shipping charge when replacing goods (unless faulty).

ORDER CANCELLATION

All order cancellations must be emailed. Your order is considered current unless cancelled in writing (via email) by either the customer or Govino NZ. Orders cannot be cancelled after they have been shipped.

PRODUCTS DEEMED FAULTY

Govino NZ prides itself on quality control and checks all products to the best of its ability before sending them out. If you believe you have a product that is faulty, please call or email us as soon as possible during business hours, with your purchase details.

PACKAGES DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

Govino NZ takes great care when packaging your order and rarely have our packages been damaged in transit. In the unfortunate case that your order does get damaged please note we consider any damage or loss of goods on a case-by-case basis however most packages are covered by Govino NZ, provided you have not asked for a package to be left at a premises without obtaining a signature by our driver.

By placing an order with Govino NZ you authorise us to send you our promotional emails, exclusive sale offers and new product updates from time to time. If you do not wish to receive our promotional emails, please reply to your order confirmation with the title ‘unsubscribe’ in the subject line.

REFUSAL TO SUPPLY PRODUCTS

Govino NZ’s reserves the right to refuse or discontinue supply or services of any products without notice to persons who are deemed to engage in conduct or activities that Govino NZ believes violates any of the afore mentioned terms and conditions.
